What information we collect, use, and why
We collect or use the following information to provide the intended service Rentzi provides through its online platform.
- Names and contact details (email address and phone number).
- Addresses (for billing).
- Payment details (including card or bank information for transfers and direct debits).
- Information from any social media account you sign up with.
We may collect information from communications you make through the platform and other further information about how you use our platform.
Our lawful bases for collecting or using personal information is your consent and these are collected directly from you as agreed through our Terms of Service.
How we use your information
We use the provided information:
- To facilitate the use of the Rentzi platform, communicate with other users, access our customer services and receive relevant notifications from us.
We may also contact you via email or phone if we need to communicate relevant information about your usage of the Rentzi platform.
- To make Rentzi a safe platform for all users and so that we enforce our Terms of Service.
- To exercise our interests as an online platform by marketing products, services and new features via email.
Who we share information with
Rentzi will never sell your valuable personal information to any third parties. However, we may share your personal information with the following third parties which supports any of our services you use:
- Stripe, our payment processors who holds details any rentals you book through Rentzi in order to verify and process your payments. These may include User ID and payment details.
- Stripe, our ID verifier. These may include your name, ID, selfie photos, addresses and other necessary information required to verify your identity.
- Marketbase, used to monitor chats on our platform.
- Zapier, used by Rentzi to monitor and safely record all activities on our platform, for automation purposes and to communicate relevant information to you. These may include your user details and contact details.
How long we keep information
We will retain Your Personal Data only for as long as is necessary for the purposes set out in this Privacy Policy. We will retain and use Your Personal Data to the extent necessary to comply with our legal obligations (for example, if we are required to retain your data to comply with applicable laws), resolve disputes, and enforce our legal agreements and policies.
We will also retain Usage Data for internal analysis purposes. Usage Data is generally retained for a shorter period of time, except when this data is used to strengthen the security or to improve the functionality of Our Service, or We are legally obligated to retain this data for longer time periods.
When Your Personal Data is no longer required by law or rights or obligations by Us or You, We will delete the Personal Data. In most cases, Personal Data will be deleted upon termination or expiry of the agreement between the You and the Company or Operator or upon Your written request.

You don’t usually need to pay a fee to exercise your rights. If you make a request, we have one calendar month to respond to you.
